These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the RMS Logistics website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. About RMS Logistics

RMS Logistics is a company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, operating under a freight brokerage and logistics services license.

We act as a logistics coordinator and intermediary, facilitating transport, shipping, and logistics solutions through third-party service providers.

We do not operate as a carrier, freight forwarder owning transport assets, or insurer, unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

 

2. Scope of Services

Our services may include:

  • Freight brokerage (air, sea, and land)
  • High-value cargo coordination
  • Oil & gas logistics support
  • Secure transport coordination
  • Custom and bespoke logistics solutions
  • Advisory and facilitation services

All services are subject to availability, partner acceptance, and compliance checks.

 

3. No Carrier Liability

RMS Logistics acts strictly as an intermediary.

  • We do not physically transport goods
  • We do not take possession of cargo
  • We are not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party carriers

All transport services are performed by independent third-party providers, who operate under their own terms and conditions.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate and complete
  • You have full legal authority over the goods
  • Goods comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You will provide all required documentation (customs, export, compliance)
  • You are responsible for insurance coverage, unless otherwise agreed

Failure to comply may result in refusal of service or delays.

 

5. High-Value, Oil & Gas, and Controlled Goods

For shipments involving:

  • Oil, petroleum, and refined products
  • Precious metals, minerals, or commodities
  • Luxury assets (art, vehicles, collectibles)
  • Regulated or restricted goods

You acknowledge that:

  • Enhanced due diligence (KYC/AML) may be required
  • Additional regulatory approvals may apply
  • RMS Logistics may disclose information to authorities or counterparties
  • We reserve the right to decline or terminate services at our discretion

 

6. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

You agree to comply with all applicable:

  • International trade laws
  • Sanctions regimes (including OFAC, EU, UK, UAE)
  • Export and import regulations
  • Anti-money laundering (AML) requirements

RMS Logistics reserves the right to:

  • Conduct compliance checks
  • Request additional documentation
  • Refuse or terminate services without liability

 

7. Fees & Payments

  • All fees will be agreed in writing prior to engagement
  • Payments must be made in accordance with agreed terms
  • Late or non-payment may result in suspension of services
  • All third-party costs (carriers, handling, storage) are payable by the client

Unless stated otherwise, all fees are non-refundable once services have commenced.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • RMS Logistics shall not be liable for:
    • Loss, damage, or delay of cargo
    • Acts or omissions of third-party providers
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
    • Loss of profit, revenue, or business

Our total liability, if any, shall be limited to:

The fees paid to RMS Logistics for the specific transaction

 

9. Insurance

  • RMS Logistics does not provide cargo insurance by default
  • It is the client’s responsibility to obtain adequate insurance coverage
  • We may assist in arranging insurance upon request (via third parties)

 

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • War, conflict, or civil unrest
  • Government actions or regulatory changes
  • Port closures, strikes, or supply chain disruptions

 

11. Confidentiality

We will take reasonable steps to maintain confidentiality of your information.

However, disclosure may occur where required by:

  • Law or regulation
  • Government authorities
  • Compliance obligations

 

12. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use it for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Interfere with website functionality
  • Submit false or misleading information

 

13. Intellectual Property
